Older Fleets and Storage Trailers

We know that not all companies have fleets of brand new trailers.  Some fleets have trailers with an average age of 12 - 15  years.   Some clients have storage trailers that they use and maintain for extra space never leaving the confines of their yard.

The criteria for repairs is often different for these 'older' trailers.  Many times, simple backplating or reinforcements will repair a trailer instead of a full replacement.    While these repairs may not always look as pretty, they are sturdy, less costly alternatives to replacements.  Safety is never compromised.

Some Ways to Save $$$ on Your Repairs

  • Door sections and re-skins --  You don't have to replace a door (swing or roll-up)  that has taken some smaller damage.
  •  Hinge areas can be backplated and rebolted when they pull through the door.
  • Top rails and corner caps can be plated and or aluminum-welded.
  • Roof and panel patches can be installed using self-sealing pop or mono rivets instead of buck-riveted into place.
