This was the specified repair. The translucent roof is sandwiched between 2 aluminum strips. These strips are then buck-riveted with one row of rivets on each side of the roof bow approximately 1/2" to 1" from edge of roof bow. By straddling the roof bow, you give the roof section added strength and stability with virtually no chance of developing stress cracks or loosening rivets. (go back) |
