The right tool for many jobs
@ These bars were originally designed to meet the needs of journeyman trailer mechanics. @ Each bar has a flat end and a specialty end designed for a variety of uses. @ Feels ‘right’ in your hand. Not too thick or thin. @ Made of mild steel – less vibration than with hardened steel. @ Provides double-duty use as a hand anvil for straightening and re-forming bent steel and aluminum rails, posts, etc.
So versatile, you’ll want the complete set.
Each bar is approximately 8” long and weighs about 5 lbs.
A. All-purpose bar. Angled on one end, flat on the other. Good for most riveting applications. B. Roof/rail bar. Lighter than the square bars, the round bar lets you buck more rivets with less fatigue. The specialty end lets you easily buck the roof flanges on the newer, shallower top rails. C. Close quarter bar. Fits into the grooves of exterior posts, grooved interior posts, and rear frame side panel flanges. Fits into places where wider bars won’t.
